Lost property

RailCorp's Lost Property Office handles hundreds of items found on trains and stations every week. We deal with enquiries regarding lost items and endeavour to identify and return items to their owners. A recovery fee of $6.40 is payable when you reclaim your item.

Due to the large number of enquiries we receive daily, some delays may be experienced by customers. Lost property is held by the Lost Property Office for 28 days and then disposed of according to RailCorp policies and procedures.

Where do I find it?

The Lost Property Office is located on the main concourse at Central Station, opposite platform 1.
