Free travel on train services throughout the entire CityRail network is provided to veterans and their wives, children and grandchildren participating in ANZAC Day events on Friday 25 April in the greater Sydney region.
To be eligible for free travel, participants need only wear their uniform, display their medals or carry a letter of authority from their RSL branch. Free travel will also apply to widows, children and grandchildren of veterans under these conditions.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Cenotaph, Martin Place starts at 4.15am and CityRail is running special early morning train services to Wynyard and Martin Place stations to help you get there.

Special CityRail ANZAC Day services are operating on the following lines:
• Illawarra Line (via Hurstville) - departing Cronulla at 2.30am
• Eastern Suburbs Line - departing Bondi Junction at 3.30am and 3.55am
• Bankstown Line (via Sydenham) - departing Lidcombe at 2.25am
• East Hills Line (via Airport) - departing Macarthur at 2.10am
• Inner West Line - departing Lidcombe at 2.50am
• South Line (via Granville) - departing Campbelltown at 2.24am
• South Line (via Regents Park) - departing Liverpool at 2.44am
• North Shore Line - departing Hornsby at 2.54am
• Western Line (via Parramatta) - departing Penrith at 2.15am
• Western Line (via Parramatta) - departing Richmond at 1.57am.
Customers should change at Seven Hills Station for the 2.44am service to Wynyard.
• Northern Line - departing Berowra at 2.15am
• Blue Mountains Line - departing Lithgow at 12.10am
• South Coast Line - departing Kiama at 1.07am
• Newcastle & Central Coast Line - departing Newcastle at 12.30am
