Access and Transport Changes From 28 November 2005

From Monday 28 November there will be changes to the way you can get to and from buses at Parramatta Station.

• Bus stops in Fitzwilliam St will be relocated to the southern side of Argyle St, next to the station and outside the new Westfield development (see map and bus departure table on this page)
• Bus stops at the Station St interchange will be moved to Darcy St (see map and bus departure table).
• You will be able to get to Westfield, Darcy St and Argyle St via new escalators at the western (Westfield) end of each platform.
• You can also get to these locations via a new pedestrian underpass.
• People with disabilities will still be able to access the station via the eastern concourse.
• NightRide services (routes 60 and 70) leave from bus stand B2 on Argyle St, part of the interchange.

There will be plenty of staff on hand to answer questions and signs to point you in the right direction during the introductory period.

These changes are being made as part of a large project designed to provide a clean and safe transport gateway to western Sydney, making it easier and more convenient to change from train to bus and back again. The Parramatta Interchange project is expected to be completed in early 2006.
