From Saturday 14 April 2007 access to Epping Station will be via the new concourse and Beecroft Rd footbridge.

The new concourse provides:

• A modern and spacious facility, significantly improving passenger movements and access to amenities
• Lift and escalator access to all platforms
• Upgraded and wider platforms with increased weather protection
• A new stair and lift accessible footbridge providing covered access to and from the concourse across Beecroft Rd.

The old concourse will be closed from early Saturday morning, 14 April 2007.

The Epping Station concourse and Beecroft Rd footbridge is the first stage in the upgrade of Epping Station, which will be completed in 2008 and includes a new rail line from Epping to Chatswood. This route will join the Northern and North Shore lines and provide three new stations to the growing North Ryde/Macquarie Park area.

New facilities will include an upgraded bus interchange on Cambridge St, which will be completed during 2007. Construction work will continue on the eastern side of Epping Station to complete the new bus interchange, after the opening of the concourse.
