Changes to parking and traffic arrangements
Vehicle and pedestrian access to the western forecourt of Central Station will be limited while maintenance work takes place to waterproof the western forecourt car park and improve lighting in the area.
During the upgrade, customers are advised:
- Traffic will operate in one direction – entry via Hay Street ramp
- There will be no road access via Pitt Street
- Public parking will be limited
- Taxi ranks and loading zones will be relocated
The works will take place in three stages with each stage affecting a different area of the western forecourt car park bounded by Hay and Pitt streets.
