Parramatta Transport Interchange - opening 19 February

The new Parramatta Transport Interchange will open on 19 February, 10 months ahead of schedule. The development is part of a large project designed to provide a clean and safe transport gateway to western Sydney, making it easier and more convenient to change from train to bus and back again.

The new interchange will provide improved transport services and facilities including:

  • an upgrade of Parramatta Station, including platform and concourse refurbishment and extensions, improved weather protection, amenities, ticket facilities and security features; and
  • construction of a new bus interchange at Argyle St with passenger amenities such as large information displays, weather protection and comfortable seating.

The new bus interchange is located on Argyle Street between Church Street and Valentine Square. It combines all bus services in one location right next to Parramatta Station.
