Customer lifts at Blacktown Station and its bus interchange will undergo a major refurbishment to improve reliability and reduce failures.

The refurbishment will take place over six weeks, with up to two lifts out of operation on weekdays.

Lift number 2 on station platforms 1 and 2 and lift number 6 on bus bays 14 to18 at the interchange will be closed for refurbishment.

If you require lift access for platforms 1 and 2 for the Richmond branch line please catch a shuttle bus, which operates between Blacktown and Marayong Station, to change for a train service for stations to Richmond.

If you are travelling from the Richmond branch line to Blacktown we advise that you travel to Westmead or Parramatta and change to a return service that stops at Blacktown, as these trains will stop at platforms with lift access.

Lift number 3 on station platforms 4 and 5 and lift number 7 on bus bays 10 to 13 at the interchange will be closed for refurbishment.

If you require lift access for platforms 4 and 5 to the city please use platforms 1 and 2 for the Richmond to city service.

If you are travelling from stations west of Blacktown we advise that you travel to Westmead or Parramatta and change to a return service that stops at Blacktown, as these trains will stop at platforms with lift access.

Lift number 4 on station platforms 6 and 7 and lift number 8 on bus bays 5 to 9 at the interchange will be closed for refurbishment.

If you require lift access to platforms 6 and 7 for the Penrith service, please travel to Westmead or Parramatta (from platforms 4 and 5) to catch this service.

If you are travelling to Blacktown and require lift access please change at Seven Hills for a Richmond branch line service.

Lift number 5 at the Main St entrance will be closed for refurbishment.

A shuttle bus will operate between Main St and Boys Ave entrances.
