More seats for Blue Mountains and Newcastle & Central Coast customers

From Sunday 30 January, CityRail is increasing the number of carriages on selected services as more Oscar trains are rolled out across the CityRail network.
On weekdays, four peak services and on weekends, two services will be increased from six to eight carriages:
Weekday services
- 5.51am Lithgow to Central, arriving at 8.45am
- 5.37pm Central to Lithgow, arriving at 8.38pm
Weekend services
- 6.36am Lithgow to Central, arriving at 9.31am
- 6.18pm Central to Lithgow, arriving at 9.17pm
Weekday services
- 5.36am Gosford to Central, arriving at 7.06am
- 5.00pm Central to Gosford, arriving at 6.29pm.
In addition to these extra carriages, this service will now stop at West Ryde at 5.21pm.
