Town Hall Station lift availability

Between 7 February and 28 October, we're installing new, more reliable lifts at Town Hall Station. The lifts will be replaced one at a time to minimise inconvenience
to customers.
If you need lift access to Town Hall during this time, you may need to change at Central, Wynyard or Martin Place for a train arriving at a different Town Hall platform.
Stage 1 - completed
Stage 1 of the works, replacing the lift to platforms 3, 5 and 6 was completed on Tuesday 19 April.
Stage 2 - completed
Stage 2 of the works, replacing the lift to platforms 1, 2 and 4 was completed on Sunday 26 June.
Stage 3 - Monday 27 June until Friday 28 October
During this time, the lift between George Street and the station concourse will be unavailable.
You can access the concourse using lifts in The Galeries (500 George Street) and the Queen Victoria Building (455 George Street). Ramp access is available through Pavilion Plaza (580 George Street).
