Changes to CityRail fares

The NSW Government today announced a fare increase to take effect from Sunday 6 January 2013. Single MyTrain tickets will increase in price by 20 cents and MyTrain weekly tickets will increase by $1.
The NSW Government decided not to increase fares to the full amount recommended by IPART, instead increasing fares in line with the cost of living only.
There will be no increase to $2.50 Pensioner Excursion tickets or Family Funday Sunday tickets.
We recommend customers allow extra time to purchase their ticket on Monday 7 January 2013, as many people will be returning to work.
The table below outlines the changes to CityRail fares. Fare calculator data on this website will be updated when the changes are introduced.
