Pensioner Excursion
For just $2.50, a Pensioner Excursion Ticket gives you all-day travel on:
- all CityRail services
- all regular State Transit bus services
- all regular Sydney Ferries and Newcastle Ferries services
- all Metro Light Rail services
- private bus services in the metropolitan and outer metropolitan regions.
Eligibility
Pensioner Excursion Tickets are available to holders of:
- Pensioner Concession Cards issued by Centrelink or the Department of Veterans' Affairs
- NSW Seniors Cards
- Seniors Cards issued by other Australian state or territory governments.
Where to buy
Pensioner Excursion Tickets are available from station ticket offices, TransitShops, Sydney Ferries ticket offices, and selected 7-Eleven stores, newsagencies and convenience stores. Locate your closest ticket outlet.
Airport stations
A station access fee applies at International Airport and Domestic Airport. Simply buy a concession GatePass when you enter or exit at these stations.
Travel restrictions
Pensioner Excursion Tickets are not valid for travel on CountryLink services, Sydney Buses special event services, Sydney Ferries cruises or the Sydney Monorail. Travel on private ferries is subject to eligibility criteria.
