Moore Park Event Precinct

Cafe, Fox Studios, Moore ParkThe Moore Park Event Precinct is home to a variety of events and venues, including the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney Football Stadium, Entertainment Quarter, Centennial Park and neighbouring Royal Randwick Racecourse.

Moore Park continually plays host to historic sporting clashes and international celebrations such as World Youth Day and the annual New Year's Day Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Moore Park holds the opportunity to be entertained by premier shows, find bargains at the Entertainment Quarter markets, watch well known bands play live at the Hordern Pavilion or escape the city surroundings at Centennial Park.

How to get there

The closest railway station to the Moore Park Event Precinct and Royal Randwick Racecourse is Central Station.

From Central Station, Sydney Buses operate the following services, usually departing from Eddy Ave (Stand C):

  • Routes 339, 374, 376, 391 (alight at the first bus stop on the bus roadway at Moore Park)
  • Routes 372, 393 or 395 (alight at the first stop on Anzac Pde)

During special events at Moore Park, Special Event Express Shuttle Buses also operate, usually departing from Chalmers Street, Central Station and Young Street, Circular Quay.

Save time and buy a Moore Park Ticket. The special combination ticket includes return train travel to Central Station and then bus travel to and from Moore Park.
