Sydney Airport
Catching a train is one of the fastest ways to reach Sydney Airport. Services run directly from the city centre to stations located inside the Domestic and International terminals.
It only takes 10 minutes to travel from Central Station to Domestic Airport Station and 13 minutes to International Airport Station.
On weekdays there are approximately six to eight services every hour from 6.00am until 10.00pm, and then four per hour until the last train. On weekends and public holidays there are four services per hour.
Tickets
Tickets to airport stations are available from any CityRail station. Return tickets allow you to travel to and return from one destination only. You have until 4.00am the next day to complete your journey.
A station access fee applies at International Airport and Domestic Airport. If your ticket shows International Airport or Domestic Airport as the origin or destination, the access fee is included in the cost of the ticket. If your ticket does not include the access fee, simply buy a GatePass when you enter or exit at these stations.

Getting there
Domestic Airport and International Airport stations are on CityRail's Airport & East Hills Line. When changing trains, look for the aeroplane symbol on station signage. For more information on journey options, use the Trip Planner.

Travelling with luggage
Trains have plenty of room for luggage in the end vestibule areas near the entrance to each carriage. Lifts are available at Domestic Airport and International Airport stations.
